2026 Comps - Results - Updated

Stuart McWalters was the winner with his 2 fish being the only ones netted.

Stuart McWalters (centre) was the winner by a long shot with 4 fish netted by 10:34.  Second was Ian McKenzie (left) with 3, third being Brian Carraher (right) also with 3 fish.

The Club also had its second outing of the year - details below courtesy of Malcolm Garrity.

"Last month’s outing to Frandy saw 3 members fishing in extremely blustery and challenging conditions. Craig Smith landed 4 fish, John Macrae got 2 with Alex Hepburn registering 1." 

Ian McKenzie romped home on a very difficult day for fishing.

In third place was Iain Macfarlane (to left of photo).

Unfortunately, Ian took the photo and so the winner is absent (need to make sure that doesn't happen again).

Club Outings 

The Club also had its first outing of the year - details below courtesy of Malcolm Garrity.

"Last month’s successful outing to the Lake of Menteith saw 7 members take part, with Craig Smith catching 7, Gerard Di Santo 2 and Duncan Stewart claiming the biggest fish at 5lbs."
